Designer Lilia Litkovska, together with photographer Nick Knight, has launched the spring charity capsule collection"Flowers Know Better". All proceeds from sales will be donated to the humanitarian organization "Misto Dobro", which provides shelter and psychological support to women and children affected by the war.
The founder of LITKOVSKA is a Ukrainian artisan known for her unique combination of modern minimalism, elegance, and unconventional cuts. Since 2009, she has been creating collections, maintaining an active social stance, and is a regular participant in Paris Fashion Week.
Nick Knight is a British fashion photographer and the founder of SHOWstudio. He collaborates with the world’s leading fashion magazines, including Vogue and Dazed & Confused, as well as luxury brands such as Dior, Alexander McQueen, and Yohji Yamamoto, among others.
"Flowers Know Better" – the name of the capsule speaks for itself: flowers became the key element of the designs. Lilia explains the concept of the print as follows:
"In peaceful times, flowers decorate our homes and bring us comfort. But when they grow through ruins or on the battlefield, they bring hope and demonstrate the power of beauty and nature. The goal of our collaboration is to support the children of Ukraine who are suffering from this devastating war and to warm people's hearts around the world by bringing these flowers closer to them."
The photographer personally developed a blue and yellow floral print, which was later transferred onto various fabrics. The Collection Includes: T-shirts, shirts, blazers, trousers, denim pieces, scarves, and more.
The campaign features Ukrainian actress Solomiia Kyrylova, who joined the project to further support its message.
