Not just a jacket: The IENKI IENKI Phenomenon

16.04.2025

Outerwear is an essential part of any wardrobe, yet many consumers often prioritize looks over quality—resulting in garments that quickly lose their appeal.

However, Ukrainian brand IENKI IENKI proves that it’s possible to combine stylish design, cutting-edge production technologies, and top-tier materials that offer protection against the harshest weather conditions. Now recognized across the globe, the brand has become synonymous with quality and contemporary fashion.

IENKI IENKI was founded in Kyiv in 2016 by Dmytro Yevyenko, who is listed among the BoF 500—the most influential people in the fashion industry. His vision is to create modern silhouettes that express individuality and stand the test of time thanks to innovative production techniques. In their pursuit to design the ultimate cold-weather jacket, the brand uses advanced materials like nylon, paper cotton, and premium goose down, resulting in pieces that are lightweight, warm, and visually striking with shimmering, multi-tone finishes.

Just one year after launching, IENKI IENKI was available in over 300 stores worldwide, solidifying its presence on the international fashion scene. From the start, the brand focused on a global audience — a strategy that clearly paid off. Celebrities like Emily Ratajkowski, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Kourtney Kardashian, and Hailey Bieber have all worn IENKI IENKI puffers proudly made in Ukraine.

Some of the brand’s most iconic designs include the Keptar jacket, inspired by traditional sheepskin vests with authentic patterns, and the cult-favorite Michelin jacket, filled with premium goose down sourced from Ukrainian farmers — according to the brand itself.

So what is the secret behind the IENKI IENKI phenomenon? It lies in their innovative approach, their perfect balance between leading fashion trends and functionality, and their use of durable materials that are windproof, waterproof, and long-lasting. Add to that smart marketing and bold advertising campaigns that always catch the eye — and it’s clear why the brand continues to grow rapidly and confidently hold its position in the global market.
